What Our Pest Control Work Covers

Last updated: October 2026

Illinois Pest Pros provides inspection and treatment for common household pests across Illinois, including ants, cockroaches, rodents, bed bugs, mosquitoes, ticks, fleas, wasps, spiders, stink bugs, pantry pests, carpenter bees, and termites. Every visit is performed by technicians licensed under the Illinois Structural Pest Control Act, and pesticide applications follow the Illinois Pesticide Act and the use directions on each product label as required by FIFRA.

Our crews follow the EPA Worker Protection Standard for covered pesticide work and OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard for chemical labels and safety data sheets. Hazardous pesticide waste is handled under RCRA requirements, and we coordinate with the Illinois Department of Agriculture, the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency, and the United States Environmental Protection Agency where applicable.

Structural repairs, wildlife exclusion beyond standard entry-point sealing, lawn renovation, and mold remediation fall outside standard pest control and require a separate written agreement.

Booking, Rescheduling, and Cancellation Terms

Appointments can be scheduled by phone or email. Once we confirm a time window, we ask that you provide at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations made with less notice may be subject to a trip fee, since our technicians are dispatched and routed in advance.

Please make the treatment areas accessible before we arrive clear clutter, secure pets, and let us know about any access instructions, gate codes, or occupied units. If we cannot complete the service because of access problems, a return visit may be billed separately.

If we find a problem during the visit that was not part of the original request for example, termite activity discovered during an ant treatment we will explain the finding, provide options, and wait for your approval before doing any additional work. No scope changes are made without your sign-off.

Quotes, Pricing, and When Payment Is Due

We provide written estimates before any work begins. For straightforward treatments, the quote may come after a phone conversation; for termites, bed bugs, or rodent exclusion, an on-site inspection is usually needed to price the job accurately. Estimates list the pests covered, the treatment method, the number of visits, and the total price.

Payment is due when service is completed unless a recurring plan or other arrangement is stated in writing. We accept standard payment methods, and receipts are provided for every visit.

If the scope changes say, we find a second nest or additional entry points we will present a revised estimate and get your approval before continuing. You are never billed for work you did not approve. Prices quoted are valid for 30 days unless otherwise noted, since product and fuel costs can change.

Our Workmanship Guarantee

Illinois Pest Pros stands behind the quality of each treatment. If covered pest activity returns within the warranty period stated on your service agreement, we will re-treat the affected areas at no additional charge. Warranty length varies by pest and treatment type termite work, bed bug programs, and general pest services each carry their own terms, which are written on your invoice or plan agreement.

A few things can void coverage: unauthorized repairs or treatments by another party that interfere with our work, structural changes that open new entry points, sanitation conditions that attract pests back, and missed follow-up visits on multi-treatment programs.

If you think a covered problem has come back, call us and we will schedule a re-inspection promptly. The written terms on your agreement control in any conflict with this summary.

Limits on Our Liability

Our responsibility for any claim arising from pest control work is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions such as structural damage from termites or carpenter ants that existed before our first visit, contamination from an infestation we were not hired to treat, or damage caused by conditions we could not reasonably observe.

We carry the licensing and insurance required by the Illinois Structural Pest Control Act and the Illinois Pesticide Act, and our applications follow FIFRA label directions. Our crew practices under the EPA Worker Protection Standard and OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard for chemical handling, and hazardous waste is disposed of under RCRA.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Illinois law. If any provision here is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
